35* Roads were a bit icy.  The temperature was fine.

16:16, 2nd overall.  The effort was good and I don’t think I let up much during the race.  The splits seem to slow a bit more than I think they should…the miles may be off a bit???  5:03-5:15-5:58 (1.1) It is about where I’ve been for this race on other years (16:00-16:15)

Harder than planned

35-40* Rain at the end.  Started out comfortable and planned on running between 7:00-7:30 pace but hit the half way @ 46:32 so I decided to work the 2nd half to make sure I maintained the same pace.  Finished the 2nd half in 43:20.  Ran the last 2 miles around 6:00 pace or slightly faster.  I felt surprisingly good after yesterday… I’ll be feeling these two days tomorrow.

Hit my week goal of 80.  I should hit my year goal of 2800 easily now and hopefully hit my month goal of 300 with 70 next week.  It will be hard with Christmas activities…but I have a very understanding wife.

Last Long Run of the Year

Cross River 18 (same loop as last week) but 10 seconds per mile quicker.  Went out slower, but finished stronger.  Still hurt the last 2-3 miles.  Happy with where I’m at this point, hopefully I can keep improving over the next 3 months.

10 Miler - Hilly

Muncy Hills Out and Back.  Out 32:28, Back 30:06, + 1 mile 7:26.  Worked the up hill harder this time and eased on the way back.  It was tempting to push coming back to try and break an hour for the 9, but my legs were heavy and tired to begin with and I didn’t want to ruin the rest of my runs for the weekend.

Expected faster.  But OK.
