75* and sunny. A good day to push the girls to the park and back home again. On the way there we ran through the ‘forest’ and saw 2 chipmunks and 1 squirrel. They played at the park for 30 minutes and on the way home we fought bad guys with magic the entire way. Good thing my girls have magic or I might be in trouble.
Workout:
60* Felt pretty good most of the way. The last 3 miles or so were a little uncomfortable. It’s almost like I’ve forgotten how to run. My first long run since Boston and I have to say it went well. Hopefully better next time. I was going to race today, but decided to head out the door for a run here (and my wife wanted to go yard saling too. Injury Record - Right arch is tight and hurts when I bend my toes under. I think it’s something that will get better after a week or so of consistent running. And my knees ache a bit, but that’s no big deal there. Some advil and a couple more days of easy running will make those better.

Went out easy (felt pretty tired and slow) and ended up running a pretty good run. I just relaxed and enjoyed the 60* weather with sunshine and no wind. It has been a while since we have had a ‘nice’ day to run. Good day.

Felt pretty bad today. I cut the run in half of what I was planning. Hopefully a better run tomorrow.

Nice day for a run. A little too windy for my son… he really hated the last mile of the run into the wind and sun.

Pushed my kids around the block (4and 3 year olds). Going into the wind was much worse than running up the hills with them.
Workout:
It started off as an eleven miler, but then my 4 year old said she wished I could stay home with her. So I invited her out for my run and decided to push her for an hour. We made it about 4 miles when I made the turn and saw the rain clouds heading our way. It started to sprinkle 3/4 of a mile out and hailing the last 45 seconds. She was laughing when we got to the garage. I hope she will go out with me again.
